Wind sensor of retractable roof

Wind sensor is an electronic-mechanic mechanism that measures the speed of wind using some spatulas and if this is greater than the predetermined amount, it addresses the retraction of roof or curtains into the motor. Stability and resistance of aluminum sections of Saye-Roshan’s retractable roofs are as high as the most stable retractable roofs in eastern or western Europe. Due to this point that retractable roofs in Tehran are mostly installed at terraces, roofs, or mountain villas, we have been fastidious about our retractable roof’s design and engineering. Saye-Roshan’s retractable roofs are designed to withstand 70 km/h winds.

A significant point about textile roofs is that load applied in some areas is that much so the structure sections can not bear it; in this kind of project systematic solutions shall be found to prevent potential risks. So, for safety considerations in projects with high level code or special geographical location or in projects exposed to severe winds, wind sensor is used for retractable roof system. These sensors guarantee that in the case of heavy wind loads, the roof retract automatically and crucial loads wont be applied on structure. We set the sensibility level of wind sensor due to the stability condition of retractable roof’s connections. This depends on whether the owner or user allow the installer access to the building structure and do welding operation directly on it (best kind of connection) or insist connecting the retractable roof to the floor and walls with screws and dowels (the weakest kind of connection). There is also other kinds of connection that can be considered between these two types.
