Since the purpose of producing retractable roof is to create quiet and pleasant environments, we have paid specific attention to all details and functions of this system. The control system is no exception, so it has been provided with possibilities that allow users to move motor with an easy tool. Users can open and close all productions of Saye-Roshan such as window shutter, retractable roof, cable curtain, and, zip curtain by a remote controller and a receiver devised for them.
According to available technologies, there are 4 different methods for command transmission to roof:
1- using Building Management Systems (BMS)
BMS is a system that after being installed in a building makes it possible to control different parts of building and provides proper display outputs for users. Generally, the purpose of using BMS is accommodating operation conditions and monitoring different parts of building due to the environmental conditions and the needs of building accordingly. Retractable roofs can be considered as BMS and can be planned according to the costumer’s needs. For example you can program your roof to open automatically at specific hours.
2- Using Remote control system and receiver for command transmission
Remote-receiver is a package for sending and receiving radio commands to/from retractable roof’s mobile system. You send a command by pressing corresponding buttons. Just after user sends a command a receiver machine compatible with commander remote receives the radio signal and finally transfer the command to the tubular motor of retractable roof. After this process the roof would be opened or retracted.
3- Devising mechanical switches like other light switches of building
It is possible to command to retractable roof’s tubular motor by using available mechanical switches just like building lightening network. This method is the simplest and cheapest one to convey commands to electric roof.
4- Conveying commands via smart cell phones
You can control your retractable roof, curtain, or window shutter from distance via internet and smart cell phone by connecting to remote modules which work with the mobile phone networks. So by installing an application on your cell phone and connecting your mobile hardware to internet you can open or retract your retractable roof, electric curtain, or window shutter anytime and anywhere.
